Dear Liyarath,

The only solution for Muslim survival with dignity and full human rights achievement is for them to form their own Muslim led secular political party. If Mayawanti, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Mamta Banerjee, and now AAP can do it, Muslims too can make a credible attempt to offer a non-corrupt, welfare manifesto with candidates without any distinction of religion or ethnicity or language or regionalism. It  can be a replica of Congress, but without its corruption so steeped in every government action. The Muslim party will be a welfare party, to cater to all constitutional and human rights of the entire nation.

Kejriwal has already shown how legal funding can be availed. Only a credible leader with untainted public record of public service and an open declared commitment to inclusiveness, preferably from younger generation, with a obsessive junoon to succeed and give an alternative to national/regional parties, can draw a country wide support. The issues that can bring relevance to such Muslim leadership is  corruption. welfare and justice to all. The key is hard work and a modren face to inspire confidence, just as Kejriwal has secured by working day and night like a man driven. Is there such a man among 200 million Muslim to stand and be counted? Better let us all start proposing suitable candidates from among us, from all over India to let the community know who can be in the running for such a history making breakthrough. Let all forums chip in with the process of inviting such proposed names. Let the search begin.

Dear Juzar,

Your own words are the answer for the justification for Muslim political representation. Actually it is more than mere representation of Muslims. Because no any party is going to support the Muslims community to find long lasting solutions, rather than mere eye wash.

Congress has been promising and keep on promising doing nothing for the Muslim community, even when they have authentic adequate information on the status of the community. Issues need solution. Congress, but with their softer (than BJP) hindutwa policy will never support any Muslim.

With BJP, you cannot expect anything better than congress.

SP and / or BJP etc will need Muslims only on during the eve of election.

CPM - we know them very well from their 3 decade long LDF govt in West Bengal and in Kerala with LDF elected (after UDF) alternately.

That is why there is very serious requirement of a political party with a national approach and perspective, who can take up the issues of Muslim minorities, Dalits, the poor, backward etc. who are not in the lime light of power or politics.
